Babble Buddies (0–12 months) and Beyond Babble Buddies (12–24 months) are thoughtfully designed parent + child groups created by pediatric speech-language pathologists to nurture early communication, language development, and meaningful connection during the first two years of life, one of the most important periods of brain growth.

 

More than a typical baby group, Babble Buddies combines songs, fingerplays, books, bubbles, movement, gestures, and interactive play with practical, research-informed strategies that help caregivers support communication, babbling and first words in everyday routines, from mealtime and bath time to playtime, story time, and daily interactions.

 

Babble Buddies (0-12 Months)

Designed for babies and their caregivers, Babble Buddies supports the foundations of communication and babbling by encouraging:

• babbling and vocal play

• gestures and early intentional communication

• shared attention and social connection

• listening skills and early language development

• responsive parent-child interaction

Beyond Babble Buddies (12–24 months)

As toddlers begin communicating more intentionally, Beyond Babble Buddies focuses on:

• first words and vocabulary growth

• combining words and early sentence development

• gestures, imitation, and play skills

• social communication and turn-taking

• practical ways to encourage language during everyday routines

Receipts are provided following attended sessions and may be submitted to your insurance provider under speech-language pathology caregiver education / training, depending on your individual plan.
